Amazon Product Compliance Testing Coordination
When Amazon requests product testing or compliance evidence, the first task is establishing which route applies. ReinstateAMZ helps sellers understand the request, organise the product evidence, coordinate client-selected testing where permitted and identify inconsistencies before the evidence is relied upon.
ReinstateAMZ is not a laboratory. We do not test products or issue certificates.

The three operational routes
Seller upload — Seller Central lets you upload the compliance documents yourself; the task is assembling a submission pack in which every document matches the product, identifiers, manufacturer and marketplace.
Lab Central or a participating laboratory — Amazon directs you to Lab Central or a participating laboratory; you choose and contract with a provider, and the practical work is describing the product accurately, comparing proposed testing scopes and quotations, and preparing a clean handover.
Direct Validation via an approved TIC provider — an approved Testing, Inspection and Certification provider controls the validation process and submits the result to Amazon itself; the seller-side work is pre-TIC evidence readiness and handover preparation.

What ReinstateAMZ does

What ReinstateAMZ does not do
Reinstate Amz Ltd is not Amazon, not a testing laboratory, not a Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) provider, not an Amazon-approved testing provider, not a certification body, not a law firm, not a customs broker and not a government filer. ReinstateAMZ does not conduct laboratory testing; does not issue, sign or adopt product certificates; does not make regulatory attestations; does not determine definitively which legislation or standards apply; does not determine whether you are legally the importer, manufacturer, private labeler or Importer of Record; does not enter information into government customs systems; does not receive or pass through testing fees; does not make the final provider selection; does not guarantee legal compliance; does not guarantee Amazon or TIC acceptance; does not guarantee continued selling eligibility; does not submit results through Direct Validation; and does not represent itself as controlling Amazon's decision.
Where Direct Validation applies, the approved TIC provider controls the testing or validation process and submits the result to Amazon itself. ReinstateAMZ provides pre-TIC evidence readiness and handover preparation; during the initial five-case pilot we do not communicate with or make representations to a TIC provider on the client's behalf. No acceptance or outcome is guaranteed.
What remains your responsibility
Selecting and appointing the testing provider; contracting with and paying the provider directly; confirming your legal and regulatory obligations; certifying the product where required; making any prescribed attestation; issuing certificates; making seller-controlled submissions; deciding whether to rely on the evidence; and obtaining legal, regulatory or customs advice when necessary.
Engagement levels and pricing
Compliance Route Review — £595 / $795. One product or legitimate product family, one marketplace: review of the exact Amazon request, operational route assessment, product and evidence inventory, consistency mapping, review of existing reports and certificates, and a written evidence-gap report with prioritised next steps, delivered within five business days after all required information is received.
Testing Coordination Engagement — £1,250 / $1,650. Everything in the Route Review plus up to two products, one marketplace, up to six weeks of coordination, provider identification where the route permits client choice, comparison of up to three proposed laboratory quotations or testing scopes, structured testing-provider handover, review of completed reports, submission-pack preparation where seller upload is permitted and pre-TIC readiness where Direct Validation applies. The Compliance Route Review fee is credited in full if taken within 30 days.
Multi-Product or Multi-Marketplace Coordination — from £2,500 / $3,250. Bespoke pricing for three or more products, more than one marketplace region, multiple testing providers or certificate families, variations requiring materially different evidence, or repeat documentary rejections.
Laboratory and TIC fees are separate from ReinstateAMZ's professional fees — you select and pay the provider directly. No outcome is guaranteed.
Frequently asked questions
Does this guarantee Amazon will accept my compliance evidence?
No. Amazon or the relevant TIC provider retains control over acceptance. ReinstateAMZ improves route selection, preparation and evidence consistency but cannot guarantee the outcome.
Do you conduct the testing yourselves?
No. ReinstateAMZ is not a laboratory and is not a Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) provider. We do not test products, issue certificates or make regulatory attestations. Our role is seller-side coordination: establishing the operational route, organising the evidence, preparing the testing-provider handover and reviewing documentation for consistency.
Who pays the laboratory or TIC provider?
You do, directly. Laboratory and TIC fees are entirely separate from ReinstateAMZ's professional fees. We do not receive, hold or pass through your testing fees, and we do not make the final provider selection — that decision and contract remain yours.
Is testing free if Amazon connects me with a laboratory?
Not normally. Where Amazon directs you to Lab Central or a participating laboratory, the laboratory still charges its own fees for the testing it performs. Pricing, scope and turnaround are agreed between you and the provider.
How do I know which route applies?
Route availability is shown product-by-product in Seller Central, and it can vary by product, category, marketplace and time. The free preliminary route screen looks at your exact Amazon request and what Seller Central currently shows, and tells you which route appears to apply, whether we can assist, and which paid engagement is suitable.
Can you communicate with the TIC provider for me?
No. During the initial five-case pilot, ReinstateAMZ does not communicate with or make representations to a TIC provider on the client's behalf. Where Direct Validation applies, we prepare your evidence and handover pack so that you can engage the approved TIC provider directly.
Can you review an existing test report?
Yes. Reviewing existing and completed reports and certificates for omissions and mismatches is a core part of both engagements. A genuine report may still be unsuitable for a particular product, route or marketplace — the review checks whether the document actually matches the product, identifiers, standards and marketplace in question.
Why might genuine documents still be questioned?
Documentary inconsistencies commonly involve product identifiers, manufacturer details, standards, variations or packaging evidence. If the report describes a different model number, an earlier packaging revision, a different manufacturer address or a standard that does not correspond to the request, the document can be questioned even though it is genuine.
Do you determine whether my product is legally compliant?
No. ReinstateAMZ does not determine definitively which legislation or standards apply, does not decide whether you are legally the importer, manufacturer or private labeler, and does not guarantee legal compliance. Where legal, regulatory or customs advice is needed, you should obtain it from an appropriately qualified adviser.
How long does an engagement take?
The Compliance Route Review is delivered within five business days after all required information is received. The Testing Coordination Engagement includes up to six weeks of coordination. Overall timing also depends on the laboratory or TIC provider's own schedule, which we do not control.
Do you support multiple marketplaces?
Yes — through the Multi-Product or Multi-Marketplace Coordination tier, which is priced case-by-case. The two fixed-fee engagements each cover one marketplace.
